The lotus is one of the calmest figures among the Sak Yant designs. It already appears on the site as lotus with Hong, as lotus with a vertical mantra and as lotus with five mantra lines. This design adds a more ornate variant, built up as a half circle. The fanning plumes belong to the kranok, the classic Thai flame motif you also see in temple decoration and on the mane of the Singha. It gives the flower movement without an animal being involved. The half circle makes this design suitable for places where the body already curves: the shoulder, the collarbone or along the ribs.
