This design shows how far you can go with script alone. Two blocks of five lines, alternating black and red, with the right hand half closed off by a diamond lattice. It is related to the Khom mantra panels already on the site, where the same lattice returns. The count of five per group points back to the Hah Taew, the classic design with five sacred lines. Making two groups of them and alternating the colours creates a wider field that can carry a whole part of the body. The combination of black and red ink calls for a conversation beforehand: red is set finer and shifts differently over time.
